Umihara Kawase Shun ~Second Edition~ is an updated version of Umihara Kawase Shun, released in 2000 for the PlayStation as game ID SLPS-02549. It was released at a discounted price and as the first game in publisher XING Entertainment's Maruan Series.

Details

Umihara Kawase Shun ~Second Edition~ contains three new fields: fields 56, 57 and 58. All of the in-game advertisements from Umihara Kawase Shun have been removed and replaced with artwork of Kawase.

Replays saved from Umihara Kawase Shun can be played back in ~Second Edition~.

Umihara Kawase Shun ~Second Edition~ Kanzenban was released for Nintendo DS in 2009, including the ~Second Edition~ fields as well as some new fields. In November 2015, Shun was released for Windows PC through Steam, including the ~Second Edition~ and Kanzenban fields. Not long after its release, it was temporarily removed from the Steam store, following the closure of publisher Agatsuma Entertainment in December 2015[1]. It was once again made available for purchase under new publisher Degica on 5th February, 2016; this had been planned for 28th January, but was delayed slightly while the transfer of rights was completed[2].

Umihara Kawase Shun ~Second Edition~ was released on the PlayStation Network in Japan in 2012, for purchase and download onto a PSP, PS Vita or PS3 system.
