Developers Studio Saizensen are planning future updates to Umihara Kawase Fresh! adding some previous series' (Super Famicom, PlayStation, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, and PlayStation Vita) stages. After the game's release date (25 April), they will set up a survey form on the official website.

Six questions, it looks like you get to pick two stages for each Umihara Kawase game?

Questions 1 & 2 is Umihara Kawase, 3 & 4 is Umihara Kawase Shun, 5 & 6 is Sayonara Umihara Kawase.

My picks? 50 and 55 from Original, Demo Disc stages from Shun, 33 and 59 from Sayonara.

I was looking for something like this to help me pick.

I'm just going to look through my YouTube videos regarding Sayonara Umihara Kawase since I completed every stage (exit?) for that.

33 from Sayonara? That was so hard, it already felt like I played it in two games. I voted 13 and 42 (didn't vote for the other games since I haven't played 'em yet.)

Be aware that the studio Saizensen Twitter account has put out polls to decide the DLC stages, the links below will let you vote from one of three fields from each game:

First selection from Umihara Kawase, once you click the link, there is a second tweet below showing pics of the stages mentioned:

Second selection from Umihara Kawase Shun, once you click the link, there is a second tweet below showing pics of the stages mentioned:

Third selection from Sayonara Umihara Kawase, once you click the link, there is a second tweet below showing pics of the stages mentioned:

For Shun, I don't know how field 39 got through. I get field 35, but I feel like the dandelions in Fresh serve the same purpose.

haha can't wait to do 42 again

For the original, Field 33 has some nice ice physics but I can see why it's losing. 18's a pretty tough stage, but everyone wants 42 for the hard door exit. I feel like that is replicated in that one challenge map for Fresh though.

For Sayonara, 32 is probably wanted back for the trampolines and I was surprised they brought trampolines back in Fresh for that one part. I think 33 is just a tough stage overall and I picked that one because it's more fun than 54 which destroyed me the first time around. But it looks like 54 is winning.

Will it only be one map per game? That's fine really, I'm just surprised at how few stages I would actually want to replay looking at this.

Results of the Twitter voting:

Umihara Kawase (85 votes)
F42 48%
F18 32%
F33 20%

Umihara Kawase Shun (85 votes)
F42 48%
F35 36%
F39 16%

Sayonara Umihara Kawase (92 votes)
F32 37%
F54 33%
F33 30%

A much closer result for Sayonara than the other two, but I'm glad the least spiky stage of the three won that.
