I scan manga as a hobby, so when I learned that Umihara Kawase got a manga adaptation (about 10 minutes after I bought the games), I decided to buy it since it was cheap. I expect some of you might already own it or have seen it elsewhere, but I'll provide 600dpi scans in the unlikely event that someone wants to scanlate it. I heard that the manga has very little to do with the game (and also that it's apparently not that good), but I'll scan it for posterity and my own curiosity anyway. The package will probably be here by Saturday, so I expect to have it scanned and uploaded by next Wednesday. It'll be in the folder linked below.

A few years back, I was looking at getting the manga.  However, I had heard essentially the same thing(s) that you did and ultimately passed on it.  I'll have to inquire if a friend of mine would be interested in translating, since I could cover the typesetting. 

I have to say though, these are some fine looking scans.  Your time was well spent, and appreciated!

Let me know if you decide to work on it. There are a couple more chapters that are magazine-only, but a cursory search didn't turn anything up on auctions or a few used bookstores. Just don't use the JPGs in the folder for editing, since those are low-quality (to keep the filesize down, since it's a ready copy). I also had to rescan the cover since the glass had some debris on it.

Haha, oh goodness I wouldn't want to work with a lower quality unless absolutely necessary.  I do appreciate the warning, though! 

My apologies for the absence.  While there isn't any definitive news, there's a decent possibility that I'll be able to do so.  I'm not sure if you're still floating around on here, habanero, but if you are and wouldn't mind scanning higher resolution images that'd definitely be great to work with!
