I've been trying to beat the stupid crab boss for days now, and while I get pretty close sometimes (1 or 0 platforms left), I can never manage to do it. Any tips?
If you're not doing this, I would suggest standing on the edge on the right side and shooting your line straight down to hit the eggs as the crab releases them. You do need to time your shots well, which will take some practise, but the more you can hit this way before they're floating around everywhere, the better. I think the most important thing is to pay attention to the movement of the crab's pincers in relation to your first shot; from replaying it a couple of times, you should make your first shot when it's moved its pincers back and forth twice.

Edit: never mind, I got it (although I had to rewatch your video while I was recording), turns out I was grabbing the wrong place. Then I tried doing it without watching your video and died so guess I need more practice
Good to see you cleared it! Yeah, that last swing is pretty tricky, it definitely needs some practise to do it reliably. (I do feel kind of bad saying that, given you have to wait so long for the crab to do its thing.)

I really hate this design, the only thing that final path going for it is the level afterwards with the swing. It's a bad enough boss fight that I'll take pretty much any other route to the exit, even having figured out that damn crab... it's just so tedious.
